Anna Marie Thompson

Anna Marie Thompson,77, beloved wife of Leonard L. Thompson for 57 years, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital with her family by her side.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Robert Wayne, Steven Leonard and his wife, Mary, Kevin Anthony and his wife, Paula; and her daughter, Karen Marie Lovas and her husband, Uwe; three grandchildren Eric, Christine and Jennifer Lovas; two step grandchildren Nicole and Stephanie McCann; two step great-granddaughters Cayla and MaKenna McCann; sisters Mary Elsie Dyson and Donna Burch; brothers Thomas P. Gardiner and his wife, Ann, Joseph Price Gardiner and his wife, Sue, Reverend Richard Eugene Gardiner and John Douglas Gardiner and his wife, Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Percival and Catherine Elsie Gardiner and her sister Ellen A. King.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 7 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with a rosary service at 2 p.m.A Mass of celebration will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 8 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
