Bertha White

Bertha Lillian White, 93, of Spotsylvania died Friday April 21, 2006 at her residence. She was a faithful traditional Catholic who helped establish Marian Manor Assisted Living in Stafford. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Fortin and her son-in-law Michel of Spotsylvania; nine grandchildren, Marc Fortin of Kansas, David Fortin of Idaho, Michael Fortin, Stephan Fortin, Peter Fortin, Ann-Marie Fortin, Mary-Claire Fortin, Jennifer Fortin, and Mary-Rose Fortin all of Spotsylvania; 6 great grandchildren, Carter Fortin and Luke Fortin of Idaho, Philomena Fortin, Joseph Fortin, Anthony Fortin, and Nicholas Fortin all of Kansas.

A High Requiem Latin Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday April 26, 2006 at Our Lady of Fatima Traditional Roman Catholic Church 5217 Futura Ave. Richmond, VA. The funeral mass will be preceded by a Holy Hour from 6 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM on Thursday April 27, 2006 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with a rosary service at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota.
