Tribute

Roy Bruce Jennings Jr., 50, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. Mr. Jennings attended Hollywood Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid Redskins fan. He played guitar for a local band "Destiny" in the 80's. Survivors include his mother, Virginia Jennings; the love of his life, Stephanie Doggett and her children, Ashley and Shelby Cornett; sisters Susan G. Vines (Johnnie), Teresa D. Jennings and Dorie V. Jennings; and nieces and nephews, Darah Nicole Fakouss, Stephen Louis Jandrosits and Amanda Sue Jennings. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Hollywood Church of the Brethren. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hollywood Church of the Brethren, 225 Ferry Road Fredericksburg, VA 22405 or to the SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
