Frederick Day

Frederick Day, 82, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.Mr. Day was a graduate of Spotsylvania High School. He served in the US Army from 1950-1953. Mr. Day retired as a truck driver for Embassy Dairy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Mary Ann Day; son Darryl Day of Culpeper County; daughter, Donna Lee of Stafford County; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Kirby.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, December 12 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.A graveside service will be held at Noon Saturday, December 13 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
