Aunt Dottie, J.C, Tracy and Tom… I am so sorry for your loss. My heart just breaks to know that Jimmy has passed away. Christmas day just won’t be the same! Since hearing the news I’ve had such a flood of wonderful childhood memories of spending time with all of you and Jimmy on the farm. Jimmy was so patient teaching me how to milk the cows. I always knew the visit would include a trip to get ice cream in Fredericksburg!!!
And Dottie… I still eat my alligators! I know my fond memories are just a fragment of the ones each of you must carry in your heart. Hold on to the good memories and may they bring you some peace in your time of grief. Jimmy was greatly loved and will be missed! Love to you all…

Dear Dottie,
You have been in my thoughts. I know what a difficult time this is.
Dear Aunt Dottie, J.C., Tracy, and Tom and families, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jimmy. I’m sure that this will leave quite a void in all of your lives. I can’t ever remember a time when Uncle Jimmy wasn’t smiling. My mom always spoke fondly of Uncle Jimmy. I remember when ya’ll used to come through Virginia Beach to go to Hurd’s Restaurant and would stop by our house and visit with us. I’m just glad that I got to see Uncle Jimmy last year before his decline in health. May God comfort you during this difficult time of grief and loss.
Love, Pat (Shuford) Rowsey and Al Rowsey
