June W. Wingrove, 88, of Stafford County, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Wingrove was the widow of Floyd R. Wingrove. She was a member of Hulls Memorial Baptist Church and the Enon Women’s Club. She had worked at G&H Manufacturing for 34 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Edith G. Howard; two step-sons, C. Ray Wingrove and Floyd W. Wingrove; sister, Dorothy S. Beagle; and niece, Barbara Houchin and husband Ken. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 27at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service will be held at Noon Monday, January 28 at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bland Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bealton.
Pallbearers will be Jim Raines, John Hicks, Lloyd Suthard, Alton White, Ben Wingrove and Kenneth Way.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hulls Memorial Baptist Church, 420 Enon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406.
I loved her smile and wit plus the stories she and Margaret Kemper would tell. She will always be in my heart.
