Mark Wesley Beiswanger, 25 of Stafford, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 31, 2010.

Mark was the beloved son of John and Lynne Beiswanger, devoted big brother to Corey, Cody, Tyler and Katie. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Dorothy Lox of Salisbury, Maryland, Marian Groninger of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his aunt, Joan Groninger also of Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Mark came into this world on Mothers Day, May 12, 1985 in 29 Palms, California. A 2003 graduate of Brooke Point High School, Mark graduated in 2007 from Longwood University. Mark will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched through his friendships, service and commitment to others.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, August 6 at Regester Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until service time at the church.

Johnny, Lynne, Corey, Cody, Tyler, & Katie: Rat says-Our hearts are broken, Mark is such a special friend, brother & son who touched so many in his laid back way. He is a testament of a loving, Christian family. We are truly blessed by the times we had with Mark. I have specific memories of when I met Mark in Korea, joking with him in a Jeepny, buying junk in China, and great easy-going talks after he cut our grass. I have a vivid picture in my mind of Mark holding Claire’s hand in church and both of them smiling. We will all be with Mark again in heaven; he will hold you and wipe away your tears. Rhonda says- I remember the very first day I met Mark in Black-Hawk-Villagee, he introduced me to each of the BeeHive kids. When you returned from Korea we were blessed to have you stay with us; one evening Mark lined you all up for baths, sat in the hall until you finished, then inspected each of you when done. He loves you so much. Claire says-We love you and we’re praying for you.

My daughter, Faith, was in Mark’s Sunday school class this past year. I admired him. Faith loved him. He had a truly loving spirit and was a great blessing to many. Mark really cared for his students. When he found out we were moving, he gave Faith his phone number…so she could call from Alaska, if she ever need a friend. My heart breaks for your family’s pain. We will keep you in our prayers.
