She was a true friend, always cheering you on while she was running down the hall on her way to her next adventure. She loved life and enjoyed every day to its fullest! Loved her family above all else! We shared many moments of just what it’s means to be a Marine Wife as we would agree we have “been there and done that” as no one else can.

MaryAnn and I worked together as a team through some trying and exciting times as our TITAN company expanded our Marine Corps business at Quantico. As our business grew, I was looking for a seasoned professional who could maintain my schedule, keep me aware of the pulse at work and to deal with some hard core professionals. After interviewing MaryAnn, I knew I had found the right person for the job.

She was very caring, knew the total background on all personnel and was always there to help or assist whenever needed.

Every Morning she would come in and have my calendar and appointments for the day. She also personally handled many items which could have easily ended up on my desk for action. I don’t know whether Clint Eastwood first coined the phrase – MAKE MY DAY – or if MaryAnn did. I had a habit of leaving my cell phone on my desk when I went to meetings. One day I was on my way to the Pentagon, and the Pentagon called to cancel the meeting. MaryAnn dialed my cell phone and then heard the ringing next door at my desk. She was then overheard to mutter rather loudly – MAKE MY DAY. Of course when I returned she made my day.

She was a great professional but a better friend. I have many fond memories of her and she will not be forgotten.

I want to express my sympathies on the loss of Mary Ann. A nice woman with a sense of humor. I remember years ago her wanting to know if our meetings were going to be over soon, because she had to go to the commissary. You had to be there to understand this was funny, her timing, and the way she said it. I was envious, because I had to wait before I could leave.
I will send up prayers for Mary Ann and her family.

Maryann was genuinely one of the nicest people I met in years. Her smile and laugh were always present and very infectious. Memories are a gift from God , I remember her laughter and her smile even if the job was trying at times she would always encourage you to do your best. I enjoyed speaking with her because she enjoyed life to its fullest. the Bible says that in heaven we will be higher than the angels—and the reason is because we will be like Christ.
