Norvella Atkins

Norvella Mae Crow Atkins, 84, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Atkins loved to spend time with her family and grand dogs.

Survivors include her son, Jesse B. Atkins Jr. and wife Janice of Fredericksburg; daughter Regina A. Burton and husband Wayne of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren Christina and Victoria Atkins and George "Bud" Burton Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Atkins.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John C. Burton, John W. Atkins III, Phillip P. Atkins, Harry Snellings, Gerald Snellings and Justin Dobson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
