I remember playing with Sissy, Dwayne, and Walter during my childhood whenever my Mom Liz Dubrule and Joyce would get together. Sissy was such a vibrant person and always had a huge smile on her face. She was ever the Redskins fan even then, while I was routing for those darn Cowboys. My what fun times those were; I’ll cherish them always.

I’m so sorry to hear that she’s gone. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart is hurting so much for the loss of such a wonderful person. A friend, a mother, a grandmother, and a one of a kind person. I will always remember you. My memories are blessed with your big smile, your happy voice, and your kindness. If butterflies could deliver messages to heaven I would send you one. But instead I will say… We will see one another again some day. Until then my sweet angelic butterfly, my memories will just have to do. With all my love, Sandra

    To Ruth’s Family,
I am the bookkeeper at Thornburg Middle School so Ruth and I worked together closely. She always had a smile and I can hear her voice in my office talking about “those kids who keep charging lunch!” We talked about the Redskins and our grandchildren – she loved her family so much. She recently came to visit us to tell us about her new job and how much she liked it. We don’t know God’s plan so we can’t ask why, but we know she is safely in His arms smiling down on all of us! You are in my prayers.
