Stella Ann Jones, 83, of Falmouth died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Fauquier Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was the widow of Robert William Jones Sr. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert W. Jones Jr. and wife, Gena of Bossier City, LA and Stanley D. Jones and wife, Soledad of Warrenton; eight grandchildren, Cathy, Samantha, Jessica, Robert, Kallie, LeeAnna, David and Annie; and a nephew, Jack Jennings.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday, January 27 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Monday, January 28 at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria.
She was a wonderful wife to my first cousin Robert (Bunny) and a great mother to her sons. I worked side-by-side with her in a printing company for years. She and Bunny were always so nice to me when I was a child. May God Bless Stella and her loved ones.
My cousin Stanley, her youngest son and I grew up together. We spent many hours at her home and I will always remember her making sandwiches for the both of us for lunch. She was a wonderful part of our family and she will really be missed. My prayers go out to her family. Rest in peace Stella as it is well deserved.
Stella was always so pleasant and welcoming to me at family events. My husband grew up with her youngest son Stanley. They had several adventures together.
Stella and her husband, Robert, aka. Bunny were always very nice and interested in our lives.
