Alick Henry Frank

Alick Henry Frank, 90, of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Alick worked at the Naval Research Lab for over 50 years, working on prototype design and evaluation of GPS receivers and other space applications. As a veteran, he served our country as a United States veteran.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Neel Frank; children Lori Fitzgerald (Vernon), Cynthia Frank, Amy Schrader, and step-daughter Dawn Neel; grandchildren Chuck Fitzgerald (Brittany), Matt Fitzgerald (Mandy), Jeremy Schrader (Emma), David Schrader, Olivia Schrader, Genesis DeCourcey, Santiago Barnes, and Cain DeCourcey; and great-grandchildren Annalyn Fitzgerald, Charles Fitzgerald, Matthew Fitzgerald, Joshua Fitzgerald, William Fitzgerald, Amelia Schrader, Cohen Schrader, Ezra Schrader, and baby Schrader due March 2024. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Joyce Olive Frank; parents Rosa and Henry Frank; sister Hazel Pillsbury; and dear cousin “Lee” Frank.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Historyland Memorial Park.
