Charles Edward Carr

Charles Edward Carr, 83, of Stafford County passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at his home.

Charles was born and raised in Alexandria and later moved to Stafford in 1965. He was a service manager for American Trailer Sales and as a retiree he worked for Graninger’s Mobile Home Park. Charles liked hunting when he was younger and had a lifetime love of animals. Cars were a passion he’d had since he was a teenager. He loved car shows, he loved working on cars, and he loved detailing them. He especially loved the 1950’s cars. He was a jack of all trades, if he did not know how to do something, he would figure it out.

Survivors include his daughters, Janet Dietrich (Gary) and Suzanne Rossi (Steve); grandchildren Carly Rogers (Trevor), Jacob Dietrich, and Luke Rossi; great-granddaughter Ella “Eloise” Rogers; sister Carol Adams (Ron); nieces and nephews; longtime companion Patricia Fletcher; and two special “kids” Trouble and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Sally Caton Carr.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
