June Yvonne Seelinger

June Yvonne Seelinger, 87, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born in Victor, West Virginia to the late John and Gladys (Morris) Eagle.

June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a prolific quilter and gardener, and a devoted follower of Jesus

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert Seelinger; sons Andrew, Douglas, and Kevin Seelinger; grandchildren Joshua, Zachary, and Jacob Seelinger, Kaitlin Coles, Jessica Slater, Allison Ryan, Emily Wallace, Lauren Richards, Jennifer, Benjamin, and Kristen Seelinger, and Luke, Sarah, and Hannah Seelinger; great-grandchildren Jack and Elli Coles, Brooks Slater, and Lucas Seelinger; sisters Bonnie Cobos and Nancy Neal (Dan); and stepbrother Butch Seabolt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Madeleine Eagle; brothers John “Junior” and Harold Eagle; and stepbrother Robert Seabolt.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Eley’s Ford Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Flowers are requested to be delivered by Friday, April 12, 2024, to Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
