Shawnette L. Walker

Shawnette L. Walker, 49, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Shawnette worked numerous years in retail as a manager providing customer service, eventually diving into human services as a specialist. She was also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Shawnette had many hobbies and especially enjoyed making jewelry and t-shirts, shopping, and painting.

Survivors include her daughter, Shaiasia A. Walker; brother Castillo W. Walker; and mother, Corene Walker. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley E. Walker; and brother Kenneth W. Walker.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Chancellor Community Center.
