July 15, 1968 ~ April 18, 2024 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Tribute

With great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Aaron L. Krebs, aged 55, on Thursday, April 18, 2024. A beloved husband, cherished stepdad, dear brother, loving uncle, and treasured friend, Aaron left us suddenly, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Aaron was born on July 15,1968 to the late Terry and Nancy Krebs in Fairfax County, Virginia. He met his loving wife, Michele “Shelley” (Winters), 15 years ago, and together they built a life filled with laughter and joy, often centered around the warmth of their home in Fredericksburg, VA.

Aaron treasured his time with his devoted, loving wife and especially their annual beach trip to Outer Banks, where many cherished memories were made and talks of the dreams they had yet to fulfill.  He loved his family more than they ever knew, sharing jokes or having a great meal with them brought him such great happiness! Aaron’s siblings have fond memories of playing Rock Band and he was always the STAR of the show with his vocal skills!

As a passionate fan of comedy, Aaron’s laughter was known to fill a room and uplift the spirits of everyone around him. You would often find Aaron, Shelley, and a group of friends/family at local Comedy Club or Virtual Trivia Games via zoom. His sense of humor was a gift that he generously shared, brightening the room and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Aaron was known to have one of the biggest hearts a person could have, he loved the people he cared about to the absolute fullest and would go above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and laughing constantly. His absence is a profound loss, and he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to experience his vibrant personality and boundless love.

Aaron was employed by Shopper’s Food Warehouse for 32 years until his retirement.

Aaron is survived by his devoted wife, Michele “Shelley”; stepson Corey (Jessica); brother and best friend, Darrell Krebs (Michelle); sisters Teresa McGuire and Kimberly Jenkins who were more like daughters than sisters to him; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Aaron’s life was a testament to finding laughter in the everyday, a fondness for the exuberance of sports, and the importance of family and friendship. Let us celebrate Aaron as he lived—full of love, laughter, and the happiness he brought to others.
