Albert Preston Gregory III

Albert Preston “Buddy” Gregory III, 23, of Spotsylvania County passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born on August 13, 1998.

Buddy enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Evangeline, riding his motorcycle, and coaching t-ball.

Buddy loved his family and friends. He made everyone smile and was loved by so many.

Survivors include his mother, Helen Dobbins; step-dad David Dobbins; daughter Evangeline and her mother, Shanya Blanchard; brothers Aron Blizzard (Keri) and Zachary Dobbins; sister Victoria Gregory (fiancé Austin Carpenter); step-brother Michael Dobbins; nephews Aron Blizzard and Lincoln Jackson; nieces Hazel Carpenter; paternal grandparents Carol and William Winter, Nanny Patsy Sullivan; and paternal great-grandmother Mawmaw Lucille Freeman; special cousin Cody Scrogham; and Buddy's girlfriend, Katie Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert “Big Buddy” Gregory; maternal grandparents George and Helen Blizzard; paternal grandad Bud Gregory; paternal great-grandparents Marvin and Avis Gregory; paternal grandfather pawpaw Ken Sullivan; step-brothers DJ and Josh Dobbins; cousin Michael Scrogham, Jr.; and his friends, Scotty Carneal and Devin Dean.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
