Anne P. Embrey

Anne P. Embrey, 82 from Stafford County, passed away Friday evening, Sept 10, 2021 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Mrs. Embrey graduated from James Monroe High School in 1957. She worked at F.M.C. Plant for 25 years and retired. Then worked for Social Services of Fredericksburg for 15 years before retiring. Mrs. Embrey was married to the love of her life for 53 years before his departure in 2013.

Survivors include her son, Donald E. Embrey and his significant other, Lee Ann Smith; 2 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Embrey; her parents Willis and Dorothy Peyton; and a brother Willis Peyton Jr.

 A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 18 in the chapel at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Mike Kurz, Ross Brown, Steve Allen, Scott Via, Brian Via, Ethon Via.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church at 1009 Stafford Ave, Fredericksburg VA, 22401.
