Barbara Demas Simborski (Hupka), 77 of Fredericksburg VA passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her home in Chancellors Village.

Barbara was born in Scranton, PA where she met her first husband, Richard Hupka. Together they moved frequently for his company but settled in Montclair, VA in 1982, in 1983 they opened Stafford Home & Garden in Stafford, VA and ran the hardware store as a family for nineteen years. Barbara was always smiling and happy, she brought a smile to everyone's face who knew her.  Her laugh was infectious and could be heard from miles away!  Her greatest joy was making everyone she came in contact with feel special. And you only had to be with her a few minutes and she would undoubtedly break into song! She had a song for everything, She had a great love of Broadway shows, Musicals and Classical Music.  Her second husband John Simborski moved her to Aquia Harbour in 1999 where she made many friends and enjoyed boating and being part of the Yacht club. 

Survivors include her Daughter, Laura Anderson-Paige (John), Son Ted Hupka (Anne), her Grandchildren, James Anderson, Tyler Hupka (Jessica), Brian Anderson, Nick Anderson 

(Courtney), Bradley Johnson, Teddy Hupka and Bella Serraro. Great GrandChildren, Danny Jolly and Kyleigh Anderson. She is survived by her sister Helen Vahamikos (Ange) of Charlotte NC. And various nieces and nephews.

Please join us in remembrance of her at a Memorial Service which will be held on Friday October 30, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Worship Auditorium at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 1112 Garrisonville Road Stafford VA 22556. 540-659-2554. All are welcome.
