Bonnie Lou Thompson, 75, of Spotsylvania County passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 (on her birthday).
Bonnie was known to many people and always left a lasting impression everywhere she went. She loved taking trips with her long time best friend/sister, Sue and her husband Curtis James. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and fishing.
Bonnie LOVED to watch football, going to the casino, cookouts by the pool with her friends and family, and enjoyed watching her Soaps. Everyone who she met along her journey loved her and she loved them.
Bonnie worked for Ryland homes for many years and then later retired from Simmons Company in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Bonnie will truly be missed by so many.
Survivors include her four wonderful children:
Twins: Evelyn Thompson and her spouse Justin Irwin, Jason Thompson and his wife Michelle Thompson, Roger Thompson and his wife Amanda Thompson, and Michelle Goodeill.
Grandbabies include: Christian Garcia, Cameron Garcia, Roy Scott Cochran Jr, Hanna Smith, Nolan Thompson, Blake Goodeill, Anthony Goodeill, and William Goodeill.
Also a Great-Grandson: Tristan “TT” Thompson
Bonnie has one brother, Charlie Thompson of Port Orange Florida, who loves watching his team play football… Go Redskins.
She was preceded in the death by her mother, Virginia Elizabeth Thompson; and father Clarence Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spotsylvania Fire & Rescue 4 (4804 Bancroft Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
