Brian Edmund Pugh, 91, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after a long and adventurous life.
Brian was born on July 7, 1931 in Coventry, England. He was a boy during the Blitz of Coventry during WWII. As a young man when the war ended, Brian served in the Royal Air Force and was stationed in Germany. Eventually, Brian and his wife Frances, moved with their two children to Torrance, California in search of better opportunities.
After retirement from a major aerospace corporation as a technical illustrator, he moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia to be close to his daughter. During his time at Chancellor’s Village, he enjoyed the companionship of Audrey Harthausen for over a decade.
Brian is survived by his son, David (Scott); daughter Sharon (Gabe); two grandkids, Andrew (Dianne) and Stephanie (Conor); and five great-granddaughters, Cora, Hera, Sophia, Claire, and Natalie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.
