Bruce Hansbrough

Bruce Hansbrough, 72, of Stafford County passed away on September 12, 2021 at his home.

He was born on April 15, 1949. He grew up in Northern Virginia where he met the love of his life, Glenna. Bruce graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School and went on to serve in the United States Army to fight in the Vietnam War. Bruce was a retired conductor for the RF&P railroad. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bruce enjoyed nature watching, playing pool, and most of all spending time with his family.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenna J. Hansbrough; his children Michael E. Hansbrough and Bruce F. Hansbrough (Christy); and his grandson Alex F. Hansbrough. He is preceded in passing by his father, Milton Hansbrough; his mother, Lucille “Marie” Russell; and his grandmothers Blanche Nelson and Viola Hansbrough.

Bruce was deeply loved by his family. We will miss him dearly.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Quantico National Cemetery.
