Charles O. Beckham, Sr.

Charles O. Beckham, Sr., 74, of King George County passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his home.

Charles received a Smith Dale Massey Business degree. He was a member of the JC’s Club, Elks Club, VA Gentleman’s Club, Eagles Club, and the Marlborough Point Yacht Club (MPYC). Charles spent 20 years in the Coast Guard Reserves.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Keys Beckham; daughter Samantha B. Pattie (Chad); son Charles O. Beckham, II; grandchildren Morgan E. Hockensmith (Joey), Ally M. Miller, and Coast Guard-E-5 BM2 Second Class- Zachary Dylan Beckham (Kaylee) ; and first cousins Sarah Forbush Southworth, Gus Forbush, Mary F. Hayden, Whit Brown, and Jane F. Bailey; He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Forbush Beckham and Charles Manning Beckham.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 on the beach at 5180 Waugh Pt. Rd. King George, VA 22485. A service will be held privately at the family burial site.
