Charles T. Newton, Sr.

Charles T. Newton, Sr., 81, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

Charles was a retired Master Brick Mason. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by a son, Chuck Newton (Terry); three daughters Cathy Henderson (Troy), Lisa Duer (Gary) and Lori McCarty (Billy); seven grandchildren Brandi Shelton, Andrea Perry, Jami Newton, Eric Henderson, Jacob Duer, Joshua Duer, and Kimberly Brown; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; seven siblings Jesse W. Newton Jr, Shirley Smith, Barbara Armstrong, Christine Newton, Ronnie Newton, David Newton, and Dana Newton.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Newton; and his parents, Jesse W. Newton Sr. and Eva Newton.
