Charles T. “Chuck” Trible, Sr.

Charles T. “Chuck” Trible, Sr., 68, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved parents William and Virginia Trible on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was a believer in the good Lord. He had a huge heart and cared for everyone that came into his life. He was a simple and easy-going man, but stubborn in his ways. He will be dearly missed by all.

Chuck was born September 28, 1952, in Washington D.C. He grew up in Richardsville, Virginia before moving to Fredericksburg, VA where he married Donna, helped raise her son Christopher, and lived for the remainder of his life.

Chuck was an avid sportsman to include hunting and fishing. He was actively involved in sports to include men’s softball, which he referred to himself as the “wizard”. He loved the Washington Nationals and the Washington Football Team.

Chuck was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Army National Guard. He was also a long-time member of Oakland Baptist Church.

Chuck lived a simple life, loved his family, and wanted the best for all of them. He was a loving father of 5 children and 1 stepson.

Charles T. Trible, Sr. is survived by his wife, Donna Trible, and her son, Christopher McCellan, daughter Angela Trible, son Nathaniel Trible and wife Sally Trible, son Joshua Trible and wife Ana Trible, daughter Chyna Trible and son Charles Trible Jr.; Two brothers Paul Harry and wife Jaynece and Eugene Harry and wife Kazuko; One stepbrother Billy Trible and family; One stepsister Thelma Trible and family; 11 grandchildren- Ira Nicole Roberts, Chelsea Smiley and her husband Tommy Downs, Josh Trible Jr, Jordan Roberts, Dawson Smiley, Caleb Berry, Shelby Trible, Brian Kidd, Dylin Russell, Isabel and Trulie Trible; And one Great Grandson Brantley Smiley.

Chuck leaves behind his legacy to his children, grandchildren and great grand-child(ren).

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, 4801 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg, VA 22408.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Oakland Baptist Church, 28348 Eleys Ford Road Richardsville VA 22736. It will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the church.
