Charles "Benny" Weaver

Charles “Benny” Weaver, 77, of Hartwood passed away on February 11, 2021 in his home surrounded by a loving family.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Betty E. Beeman of Hartwood and the late John L. Beeman Sr.  Benny was the husband of Darlene Noll Weaver.  Together they shared 57 years of marriage. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1655, and Eagles Aire 4123 of Fredericksburg. Benny was part owner of B & P Acoustics, Inc.  After retirement, Benny enjoyed indulging in many of his hobbies which included, fishing, camping, old cars and trucks, yard work, and old westerns. Benny’s greatest love was that of his family and his dog, Rascal.  He loved spending time in Reedville, sitting by the bay and fishing off his deck. 

Survivors include his wife, Darlene; two sons Todd Weaver of Colonial Beach and Cliff Weaver of Hartwood; six grandchildren Russell Weaver, Justin Weaver, Robert Weaver, Jeremy Weaver, Zach Weaver and Ashley Bohan; nine great-grandchildren; his mother, Betty Beeman of Hartwood; and siblings John Beeman of Reading, PA, Jeff Beeman of Reading, Pa and Susan Jancart of Hartwood.  He was preceded in death by his father, John Beeman; sister Carol Stewart; and brother Daniel Beeman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at one of his favorite places; his summer home in Reedville.
