It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Christopher Anthony Dooling of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formally of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Christopher, 61, passed away unexpectantly on Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home in Fredericksburg.
He was born to Norbert and Barbara (Coyle) Dooling on June 13, 1961 in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Christopher was a lover of life, laughter and adventure. He accomplished many things in his life to name a few; he played football (#22), being a Cessna Pilot, racing boats in Marathon, scuba diving, he was an avid fisherman and he was an Eagles fan. He was a wonderful husband, brother, and friend and he will be missed!
Christopher graduated from Saint Andrews School and Monsignor Bonner High School (Class of ’80). After graduation, he began his career working with intermodal freight for 14 plus years. He decided a new change was in order and moved his career into Franchise Sales, where he successfully worked at Cendant and ReMax International for 11 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Michele Renee McDevitt; siblings Patricia Wenzel (Robert), Norbert (Mary), Barbara Giles (Edward), Mark (Jennifer), Stephen (Machael) and William Jay.
A memorial service will be held in his hometown at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Saint Andrew the Apostle Church. Immediately following the service, family and friends please join us for a Celebration of Life at Anthony’s Ristorante located at 865 W. Springfield Road Springfield, Pennsylvania.
A private family burial will be scheduled at a later date.
