Curtis Ratliff

Curtis Raymond Ratliff, 84, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond.

Mr. Ratliff was born in Council. He was a US Army Veteran and was an active member of the Full Gospel Church in Caroline County. Mr. Ratliff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Elvia Ratliff; his four children, Sheree Pitts, Jill Ward, Scott Ratliff and Shannon Ratliff; his three brothers, Clyde, Donal and Conal Ratliff; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Eugene Ratliff.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3pm Sunday, Nov. 27 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10am Monday, Nov. 28 at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
