Donnie Ray (Sr.) Woodard

Donnie Ray Woodard, Sr., 63, of Fredericksburg, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Donnie was born on January 5, 1956 to Archie and Bertha Woodard. He resided in the Fredericksburg area most of his life. Donnie enjoyed fishing on the Rappahannock River and drinking an ice cold beer.

Survivors include his siblings Peggy, Louise, Eugene; the mother of his children, Lucy; their children, Donnie, Jr., Karon, Crystal, David, Jenna, Amanda and Jerry; and his extended family and friends.

From all of us that called you dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, Redbone, and friend, we all love you and miss you. We hope the beer is cold and the fish are always biting in heaven. Until we see you again, rest in peace.

A celebration of life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019, 5100 Jake McWhirt Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
