Earnest E. Brooks

Earnest E. Brooks, 96, of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.

Earnest was a charter member of Spotswood Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army Veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Judi Franklin (Samuel); son Gregory "Skip" Brooks (Phyllis); four grandsons Kyle (Rita) and Kory Franklin (Ashley), and Taylor and Michael Brooks; one great-grandson Caleb Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey T. Brooks. “Death can cause a lot of pain that no one can ever heal, but the love I had for Audrey no one can never steal.”

A service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Spotswood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
