Edward Marion Striegler

Edward Marion Striegler, 92, of King George went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center.

Ed was a proud 20 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and working puzzles. Ed had a smile and happy greeting for everyone he met. 

Survivors include his son, Wayne Striegler (Teresa); grandchildren Nathan Striegler (Emily) and Joshua Striegler (Caitlin); great-grandchildren Isla, Dilyn, Harper, and Charleigh Striegler; and siblings Maurice Lee Striegler (Rosemary), Ove Jay Striegler (Cathy), Gladys Wiseman (Bill), and Virginia Prehn Beam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mary Striegler; daughter Pamela Kay Striegler, brothers George and Victor V. Striegler; sisters Lillian Cable, Mildred Grohman, and Leola Mae Striegler.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
