Eleanor D. James

Eleanor D. “Pudden” James, 82, of Stafford passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Blue Ridge Christian Home.

Mrs. James was a member of Remington Baptist Church and Rock Hill Baptist Church. She was an Alan Jackson fan club member and a babysitter and caregiver for all of the neighborhood.

Survivors include her sons, Victor James (Brenda) and Curtis James (Wendy); grandchildren Allison James, Gregory James and Susan Fasenmyer; great-grandchildren Parker and Payton Fasenmyer; and sisters Katherine Burgess and Joan DeShazo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy James; brothers Sammy DeShazo, Mitchell DeShazo and Dick DeShazo; and parents Buck and Virginia DeShazo.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 16 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 17 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Rock Hill Cemetery.
