Elinor Reynolds Bledsoe, 74, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at Orange County Nursing Home. She had been a resident of the Falmouth area for approximately thirty-eight years.
Ms. Bledsoe was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She was a member of Hulls Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Stewart and her husband, Michael, of Myersville, MD., Barbara Rose and her husband, Albert, of Locust Grove, Sandra Hart and her husband, David, of Hartwood, Alicia Husted and her husband, Mark, of Spotsylvania and Rebecca Merritt of Richmond; fourteen grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Carter, her granddaughter, Amber Dawn Carter, her sister, Claire Reynolds, her brother, Harold Warren Reynolds, Jr., her mother, Elinor Wilson Reynolds, her father, Harold Warren Reynolds, Sr. and her step-mother, Grace Reynolds.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Rhonda G. Nash officiating. Interment will be at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John D. Ragland officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 13 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
