Gary Lee Kasey

Gary Lee Kasey, 56, of Ivanhoe, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Carrington Place at Rural Retreat.

Gary was born In Shreveport, La. On January 20, 1963. He was a faithful member of Spotswood Baptist church and he loved the Lord. Gary loved music and he played the bass and acoustic guitar. Gary was also a Redskins fan. He loved spending time with his family and was fully devoted to providing and caring for them.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lori Kasey; children Randy Kasey, Eric Kasey, and Seth Kasey; two brothers, Michael Kasey (Maggie) and Steve Kasey; sister Patricia Burke (Frankie); nieces and nephews Tyler Kasey, Steve Kasey Jr., Ryan Kasey, Brianna Kasey, Taylor and Nicole Kasey, Monica Kasey, Matthew Kasey, and Michael Kasey, Jr., Lauren Kasey, and Emily Kasey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gene Kasey and his mother, Mary Maynard Kasey, four babies lost due to miscarriage, including Joseph and Jeffrey Lee Kasey.

A special thanks to the nurses, CNA's, and staff of Carrington Place at Rural Retreat for the amazing and wonderful care they gave Gary and his family. They are most certainly angels on earth.

A service will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 19 at Spotswood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at noon on Wednesday, February 20 in Quantico National Cemetery.
