Gladys A. Graves

Gladys A. Graves, 97, of Chesterfield passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Midlothian.

Mrs. Graves retired from Farmers and Merchants State Bank. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends. Mrs. Graves enjoyed doing floral arrangements for her church and second home, Brookdale Senior Living, and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Walker (Bernard); grandchildren Catherine Tompkins (Tom) and Stephen Walker (Hope); great-grandchildren Curtis Myzie (Kristin), Caitlin Wynings (Kyle), Blake Walker and Savannah Walker; and great-great-grandchildren Jacob Myzie and Evan Myzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Goodwin Graves.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Zoan Baptist Church Cemetery.
