Greg Raines

Greg Raines, 67, of Spotsylvania passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at home

Greg was a train fanatic, devoted to honoring military veterans and a member of the Izaac Walton League and Massaponax Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Raines; daughter April Raines; stepchildren Michael Hasenauer (Michelle) and Jennifer Wood (Shawn); grandchildren Milenna Block, Joseph Hasenauer, Ayden Hasenauer, Shawn William Wood II and Shyanne Wood; sister Karen Carter (Conway); and nephew Conway G. Carter Jr (Maria).  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and George Gregory Raines Sr.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 8 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.  A service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, August 9 at the funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
