Howard Leonard Hager

Howard Leonard Hager, 99, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at his home. 

Survivors include his daughters, Mildred M. Moore (Lamar) and Judy Knicely; grandchildren Tom Moore (Anne), David Moore, Lisa M. Thompson (Todd) and Howard Knicely (Laura); eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Mildred J. Hager; a son and three grandsons. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. 

A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 at the funeral home chapel. 

Interment will follow in National Memorial Park.
