Jane C. Cochran

Jane Catherine Cochran, 96, of Conyngham, Pa. passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Bickford of Spotsylvania. 

Mrs. Cochran retired from Penn State University after 28 years. Prior to that, she held executive secretary positions in various industries. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Conyngham, Pa. for more than 40 years. During that time, she volunteered in different capacities in service to the church. 

Survivors include her children, Linda Ann Chinnici (George) of Bridgeton, N.J., Jane White (Timothy) of Fredericksburg, Va., and Mary Alice Frye (Peter) of Conyngham, Pa.; grandsons Paul Chinnici (Joan) of Bridgeton, N.J., Brian Chinnici (Nicole) of Bridgeton, N.J., and James Frye of Conyngham, Pa.; great-grandchildren Gia Chinnici, Brian Chinnici, and Jaxon Chinnici; brother Eugene DeSantis of Bowmanstown, Pa.; niece Maria Gray of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and nephew Thomas DeSantis of North Wales, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cochran; grandson Joseph Chinnici; and brother Thomas DeSantis. 

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Conyngham, Pa. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Bosco Catholic Church.
