Janice Louise Surmacz

Janice Louise Surmacz, 67, of Fredericksburg was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2021 at VCU hospital.

Janice loved working in her garden, home decorating, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, H. Donald Surmacz; daughter Shannon Coleman (Justin); son Christopher Surmacz (Janelle); sister Debbie Lesnik (John); brother-in-laws Art Khalouf and John Surmacz; five grandchildren Rylie, Reagan, Noel, Garrett, Alexandra; and great-grandson Kayden; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Phyllis Stough; and sister Cheryl.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
