Jason David Corona, 24, unexpectedly left us to be with God on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He is greatly missed and our hearts are broken.
Jason was born to Jeannette and Frank Corona, Sr. on June 12, 1998 in Oceanside, California. He and his family have resided in Virginia since July 2000. Jason recently graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Cyber Security Engineering.
Jason, a loving son, brother, and friend. A generous and kind soul who is loved by so many. Family would describe Jason as smart, patient, loving, sweet, and easy going, with a contagious laugh and an even more beautiful smile. His compassionate personality made it easy to develop a connection with him.
Jason is survived by his parents, Jeannette and Frank Corona, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Frank Jr. and Jordan Corona; and sister Sarah N. Corona.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a future donation to Massaponax High School, for a memorial scholarship fund that will carry Jason Corona’s name in his memory. Further details will be released in the near future. If you would like to know details about the Memorial Scholarship when it becomes available, please email frank.corona1@verizon.net.
