Jean Ann Gooch

Jean Ann (Lang) Gooch passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital, FL, surrounded by loved ones.

Jean was born in Aliquippa, Pa on August 14, 1937. She retired after 23 years at Department of Commerce and Disney World.  Her great loves were her children and grandchildren, and loved talking about them. Jean’s second great love was anything Disney and of course let’s not forget Neil Diamond.

Jean is survived by her children Thomas Gooch (Pamela) of Friendsville MD, Beth Mock (Brian) of Wamego, KS and Adrienne Hughes (Phil) of Dale City, VA; grandchildren Jamie Woolfrey (Pete), Keith Clausson, Brandalyn Lippe, Brandon Mock (Sarah); 12 great grandchildren Alex, Anthony, Jennifer, Pete, Autumn, Grace, Noah, Thomas, Summer, Sean, Lilly and Bella; sister Susie Dwyer (Rod) of Baden, PA; brothers Greg Lang and Guy Lang (Terri); and many special nieces and nephews. 

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marine Thomas H Gooch; and brothers Robert Lang and Alan Lang.

A service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford with an hour prior Visitation. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
