Jean H. Stone

Jean H. Stone, 89, of Stafford County went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Commonwealth Senior Living.

Jean was the daughter of the late Myrton and Estelle Henderson. She was a graduate of King George High School and retired as a Secretary from Farm Bureau. Jean was a Sunday School teacher for many years at New Hope United Methodist Church and was a faithful supporter of her husband’s, Bob Stone, music ministry for over 60 years.

Jean is survived by her son, Jeffrey Stone (Marie); granddaughters Robyn Elliott (Ricky), Aleisha Kelley (Bradly); great-grandson Duston Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert Stone; and sisters Freda Coates and Inez Carver.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
