Jerry Lee Rosser, 88, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 29, 1932 to the late Mary M. Denney and Theodore E. Rosser in Hopewell, VA.
Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956. He enjoyed playing many sports, especially golf with his family and friends. He was proud to have been the MVP of the 1966 Berry Brothers State Champs softball team. Before he retired, Jerry was manager of Fisher Auto Parts.
Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Crickenberger, Donna Bonacorsi (Floyd), and Dianne Baker; grandchildren Tara Robinson, Ashley Bowles (Jason), Justin and Jeremy Bonacorsi, TW and Leland Baker; and great-grandchildren Isabelle and Makenzie Robinson, Liam, Reese, Noah, and Madison Bowles. He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart, Virginia E. Rosser; his siblings, Betty Jane Lowder and Theodore Rosser, Jr.; son-in-law Richard Crickenberger; and a great-grandchild Wyatt Lee Bowles.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held privately in Quantico National Cemetery.
