John C. Jordan

John Carl Jordan, 85, of King George County passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 surrounded by his family. 

Mr. Jordan was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a retired federal and Maryland state employee. 

Survivors include his daughters, Carlene Brown (Steve), Linda Feine and Mary Johnson (Dale); granddaughters Danielle Dowling (Drew) and Amelia Moyer (Branden); and first great-grandchild expected in August. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen Jordan, parents, two brothers, two sisters, and his son-in-law, Jeff Feine. 

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. 

A private graveside service will be held at Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.
