Joni Marie Allen Parker

Joni Marie Allen Parker 46, of Hartwood, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of Larry and Peggy VanHooser of King George, Virginia.

Joni had lost her way, but was working towards getting her life back on track. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Peggy A. VanHooser; grandfather William Wooten; siblings Edith Bell (Trever), Jessica Wooten (Debbie), Brandy McKusker, and Christopher VanHooser (Tiffany); four children Keirsten Bowler (Cody), Jamie Allen, Jenna Rose (Carlos), and Dillen Rose; three grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her birth-father Richard Allen; dads William “Billy” Wooten and Larry VanHooser; grandparents Earl and Christine Allen, Frank and Shirley Dawson, and Bill and Barbara VanHooser; and grandmother Edith Wooten.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A family gathering will follow at the home of Peggy, Edi and Trever in King George. Please contact the family directly for the address.
