Jose E. Bonilla

Jose E. Bonilla, 78, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully March 13, 2023, at home surrounded by friends and family.

He was the chef/owner of Ristorante Renato and will be remembered for his passion for cooking.

Jose is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Teresa; children, Pedro, Esteban, Santos, and Elisa; grandchildren: Abbie, Neyda, Cynthia, Ana, Jacky, Ryan, Brooke, and Matthew.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens and a reception will follow at Ristorante Renato.
