Joyce J. Anderson

Joyce J. Anderson, 78, of King George, Virginia passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 while under hospice care at The Waterford Assisted Living facility in Virginia Beach.

Joyce was a housewife, mom, sister, aunt, and beloved friend. All who knew her and took care of her loved her spirit and smile.

She leaves behind one son, Michael Anderson (LaDeana); two grandchildren, Nicole and William Anderson; two brothers, William (Teresa) and Wendell (Rita) Johnson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Anderson, Jr.; parents William and Lottie Johnson; and brother Harold Johnson. 

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
