Katie Jett Wright, 94, of Spotsylvania passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

She enjoyed going to church at Sylvania Heights Baptist Church. Katie enjoyed spending time with her family and children. She retired from Rappahannock Pants Factory and Patient Accounts at Mary Washington Hospital.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Boyd Wright (Kathy) and Frances (“Sissy”) Donovan; daughter-in-law Rebecca Wright; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; special friends Linda and Dean. The family will like to say a special thank you to her granddaughter Tracy Morris for her unconditional love and care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Boyd Wright; son Andy Lee Wright; parents Hugh and Leona Jett; and a brother and sister.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sylvania Heights Baptist Church.
