Lawrence John Seitz

Lawrence John Seitz, 79, of Fauquier County, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital following complications from a surgical procedure.

Larry was born in Hays, KS and served in U.S. Marine Reserves. He moved to Virginia to pursue his 40+ year career in sales and marketing for companies, including Hallmark And Wilton, before retiring from Advantage Sales and Marketing. Larry was an avid bowler and golfer. He also had a green thumb when it came to plants, he loved to feed the birds and work outdoors in his spare time. Larry truly was a kid at heart and enjoyed keeping children entertained.

Larry will forever be remembered by his surviving family, his wife, Judy; children Michael Seitz (Dawn), Michelle Lewis (David), and Christine Kirtley (Troy); grandchildren Justin Mosher (Brittany), Paige Cserhati (Blake), Mathew Lewis, Ryan Kirtley, and Kiersten Kirtley; great-grandchildren Skyler, Summer, and Baylee Mosher. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John Bernard Seitz and Lydia Jacobs Seitz; and his brothers, Paul Seitz and Thomas Jacobs.

A service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 12 at Bethel Baptist Church.
