Lillian Stroud

Lillian Victoria Stroud, 73, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church and had worked at Virginia Shoe Factory and later at Southland. After retiring, she worked as a hostess at Hardee?s on Warrenton Road.

Survivors include her husband, Homer R. Stroud; her son, Dennis R. Stroud and his wife, Debbie, of King George County; three grandchildren, Dennis Scott Stroud of Stafford County; Lauren Ashley Stroud of Alabama and Donald L. Jett of Stafford; a sister, Elinor Brooks of Stafford County; two nieces, Tabitha Broyles and Michelle Childress; and a nephew, Michael Brooks. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Evers.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Rev. Jack A. Marcom, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Richland Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the funeral home.
